Eeze Expands Bucharest Presence as European Gaming Names City Live Casino Hub

New Office Designed for Technology Teams

Aarti Carl, Chief People Officer at Eeze, said the company has noticed a significant increase in other gaming companies setting up operations in Bucharest. The move reflects the city’s growing role in the European gaming landscape, a trend highlighted in European Gaming’s 2026 guide to the continent’s iGaming hubs.

Eeze, an international B2B supplier specializing in live casino, slots, and interactive game shows, has moved into a new office in Bucharest. The facility was designed specifically around the needs of the company’s technology teams. According to Carl, the space features whiteboards in multiple areas, a dedicated social area, and adaptable layouts to support various work styles.

“We have noticed a lot of other gaming companies are setting up there now,” Carl told European Gaming. The new office is also set up to host Eeze’s internal roadshows, allowing the company to gather staff from different locations for company-wide events.

Adapting to Local Culture and Law

Carl was appointed Chief People Officer at Eeze in April 2026. Prior to this role, she had worked in Malta, where she already established a professional network. Bucharest presented a different challenge, requiring her to learn the local culture, environment, and employment law from scratch.

“You have to understand the local culture and environment rather than assuming that what works in one location will automatically work somewhere else,” Carl said. She emphasized that when working across different countries, companies must find ways to bring employees along with them, noting that individuals do not experience corporate changes in exactly the same way.

Eeze is headquartered in Malta, with offices in London and Bucharest. The company operates as part of the Tain Group and holds gaming licenses across multiple jurisdictions, including Malta and the Isle of Man. Its studios currently employ more than 400 staff members.

Rolling Out Company Values Across Europe

As Eeze continues to expand, the company is launching a new set of values and is actively taking them to employees through a multi-city roadshow. The in-person events are scheduled to cover Malta, Bucharest, and London, while staff in Ukraine will participate online. This approach ensures that all employees, regardless of location, receive consistent messaging about the company’s direction.

To integrate these values into daily operations, Eeze has introduced toolkits and guidance for managers. These resources are designed to help leaders weave company values into one-to-one meetings, team discussions, and performance reviews. Carl stressed that it is important that the physical space works for the people who will be using it, rather than following generic office design trends.

“I do not think they should just sit on a wall,” Carl said regarding company values. “You cannot just do something because somebody else is doing it.”

Bucharest’s Rising Status in iGaming

Bucharest’s prominence in the gaming sector is not limited to Eeze’s expansion. The city is listed in European Gaming’s 2026 guide to Europe’s iGaming hubs, which profiles 10 cities across the continent. In this guide, Bucharest is ranked as the continent’s primary live casino center.

Other cities featured in the 2026 guide include Malta, London, Barcelona, and Stockholm. The inclusion of Bucharest in this context underscores its shift from a secondary market to a key destination for gaming development and operations.

Eeze is also focusing on employee well-being and engagement through unique initiatives. An upcoming campaign called “Beat the Traffic” will involve Eeze colleagues cycling from Marsaskala to Msida in Malta, competing against a car. The campaign is built around the message of being “stuck” in one’s job, encouraging employees to think about their careers and personal growth in new ways.

“For us, the important thing is that whatever we introduce, we do not lose that sense of who we are,” Carl said. As Eeze continues to grow its footprint in Bucharest and other European cities, the company aims to maintain its core identity while adapting to local market conditions.

Why It Matters

The expansion of Eeze and other operators into Bucharest signals a shift in European gaming infrastructure, with the city emerging as a primary hub for live casino development. For industry stakeholders, this trend indicates a decentralization of gaming talent from traditional centers like Malta and the UK. The establishment of new offices and the rollout of standardized company values across multiple jurisdictions reflect the operational complexity facing B2B suppliers as they scale across Europe.
