New Jersey Hits Record-Breaking $260 Million in iGaming Revenue for October

In October 2025, New Jersey’s online gambling scene shattered previous records, achieving an unprecedented revenue milestone. The state reported a staggering $260.3 million in internet casino revenue, marking the highest monthly figure since the inception of regulated online gambling. This achievement marked the first time New Jersey crossed the $260 million mark, a milestone it had approached multiple times earlier in the year.

The breakthrough in October revenue was a significant development after months of hovering near the quarter-billion-dollar threshold. Previously, monthly internet casino revenues ranged from $243.2 million to $248.4 million. The record, initially set in August, was surpassed as October introduced a new standard for the state’s online gambling sector.

The latest figures were emblematic of a robust market performance, with key metrics indicating substantial growth. The October revenue alone amounted to $60.9 million, contributing to an annual growth rate of 26.1 percent. As for the year-to-date figures, a total of $533.4 million was reached, reflecting a 30.5 percent increase compared to the previous year. Since early 2024, the total revenue amassed by New Jersey’s iGaming sector has surpassed the $1 billion mark.

The state’s revenue collection was further bolstered by the new tax rate of 19.75 percent, introduced on July 1. Over four months, this tax rate has generated $197.7 million, underscoring the fiscal benefits of the booming online gambling market.

In addition to internet casinos, other gambling channels also contributed significantly to the state’s revenue. Total gaming revenue for October hit $611.1 million, marking a 22.3 percent increase year over year. Notably, sports betting generated $116.1 million, a massive 49.8 percent increase, while Atlantic City casino winnings rose by 12.5 percent to $234.7 million.

Amid these developments, FanDuel Casino emerged as a market leader in the online casino space. October saw FanDuel achieving a record-breaking $60.9 million, securing its position as the top operator in New Jersey with an annual growth rate of 26.1 percent. The operator’s year-to-date total reached $533.4 million, and since early 2024, it has generated over $1 billion in revenue. Under the Golden Nugget license, several platforms combined to contribute $79.9 million, with Golden Nugget’s own brand adding $10.6 million and BetRivers contributing $8 million.

Meanwhile, DraftKings continued to perform well, albeit at a slower growth rate compared to FanDuel. The company reported $48.5 million in October, which represented a 6.3 percent year-over-year increase. Throughout 2025, DraftKings’ monthly revenue has consistently ranged between $48 million and $49.6 million. Resorts Digital, the host for DraftKings, reported $56.6 million, marking the second-highest revenue in its history, just behind December 2024.

The Borgata also reported a strong performance. BetMGM, operating under the Borgata license, recorded its highest monthly total with $33.2 million. Borgata’s internal platform achieved a significant milestone with $21.9 million, the second-highest figure ever for the brand.

Fanatics had an impressive October as well, posting $13 million, which represented a 250.4 percent increase year over year. The figure more than doubled the $5.1 million recorded in September, marking the third occurrence of an eight-figure total in four months for Fanatics, despite fluctuations earlier in the year. Caesars Palace closed the month with $16.9 million, and Hard Rock achieved an all-time high with $14.3 million.

These October results illustrate an expanding market in New Jersey, driven by consistent demand and the strong performance of operators across all verticals. As the state nears the end of 2025, several annual records appear within reach. The pressing question remains: how much higher can the market climb as operators prepare to close the final quarter of the year? The coming months will be pivotal in determining whether New Jersey can sustain and build upon its remarkable growth trajectory.
